Open Letter from Co-Founders of OCPA, Dennis Foster & Jeff Tabler
Dear Families, Patrons, and Friends,
Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting all of our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. First and foremost, on behalf of the rest of our Board of Directors for the Oregon Conservatory of Performing Arts, our hearts go out to anyone who has been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. And we're truly inspired by the selfless healthcare workers around the world who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.
During this time, I wanted to reach out and update you on how we are approaching the situation at the Oregon Conservatory of Performing Arts, "OCPA.

During this time, I wanted to reach out and update you on how we are approaching the situation at the Oregon Conservatory of Performing Arts, "OCPA.
- We are seeking more funding through grants and donations of any amount to remain viable in our community. Despite being stretched, we are actively responding to this crisis, crafting new policies and action plans, deep cleaning our facilities, educating our volunteers, teaching staff, and the people we serve.
- We especially hope for your support, because we just had to cancel our second most significant fundraising event of the year. Our board recently was forced to cancel our two Spring Break Camps with the hopes that we are still able to hold our Summer Camps beginning in June.
- Please keep our 2020 Summer Camps on your schedule as we are planning to hold them as outlined.
